Meet this potent Chaga extract in powder form
The Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) has all the qualities of a superfood. The advantages of Chaga have long been appreciated by the inhabitants of Scandinavia, Russia and China, where this mushroom is common.
Puhdistamo uses wild-crafted Chaga (mushrooms gathered from nature) from the Lapland wilderness for their high-quality extract. The Chaga extract is made via an 18-hour hot-water extraction. The extract is then dried into this 100% water-soluble powder. The production process with vacuum extraction, dehumidification and freeze drying is aimed at ensuring that the nutrients in the Chaga remain undamaged and are concentrated. The result is a very concentrated and absorbable Chaga Extract with biologically active substances. 1 gram of Puhdistamo's Chaga extract is equivalent to 15 grams of fresh Chaga. 1/2 teaspoon of about 400 milligrams of Chaga extract contains 100 milligrams of beta-glucans, the active substances in mushrooms.
Taste the untouched nature in this 100% organic product and make use of the Finnish knowledge about medicinal mushrooms. Puhdistamo Chaga Extract Powder received the label 'Super Food of the Year 2013' from the Finnish Association of Health Product Traders, in recognition of the quality of this product.
Puhdistamo Chaga Extract Powder is tested for and free of microbiological contamination and heavy metals.
Chaga Extract versus Chaga Powder
Chaga Extract is different from Chaga Powder. Chaga Extract is a concentrate of the active substances of the Chaga mushroom, which can be easily absorbed by the body. Chaga powder is ground Chaga mushroom that has steep as a tea in order to release some of its active ingredients. Fresh Chaga is traditionally boiled for 2-3 hours to make the Chaga tea. With this Chaga Extract you have the same drink by simply pouring on some hot water!

Cold Chaga drink
Add 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoons of powder to a blender with 100 mL of water and 100 mL of ice cubes. Blend until the powder is dissolved and the ice ground.
